SELF-PACED COURSE

Mastering

Emotional

Regulation

in Motherhood

A course to help you learn about self-regulation, to better understand your triggers, and find your calm amidst the chaos.

Does this sound familiar?

→ You have a million things on your plate and it feels like you can never catch a breath. You keep forgetting things and are feeling like you are totally dropping the ball.

→ When you do have a moment, you’re exhausted and you find yourself just endlessly scrolling and staying up late watching TV.

→ Each day you wake up and promise, “today will be different.” You’re going to stick to your goals, you’ll workout, you’ll be present with your kids, you’re not going to have that extra glass of wine, you’ll go to bed early, blah, blah, blah…yet you just can’t do it.

→ You try so hard to be patient, to do the “gentle parenting” thing, yet you find yourself making threats to take away things, to punish. And you yell. (It’s the yelling that feels the worst)

→You want your kids to be comfortable with their emotions, you want them to know it’s okay to struggle, and you want to be okay with their emotions. However, you try so hard but you find yourself becoming overwhelmed and triggered by their emotions.

→ You beat yourself up a lot. The mom guilt is heavy and you just feel like you’re failing at it all.

What if things felt easier? More manageable? Even happier?

Yes, amongst all the things that motherhood brings, it is possible to feel good in it.

Emotional self-regulation is at the core of our overall wellbeing. Many of us enter in adulthood without the knowledge, skills, or capacity to emotionally self-regulate in a way that is healthy. Our past experiences also heavily influence this ability.

We are always able to learn and develop these skills and this can make a huge difference in our overall wellbeing. It also leads to us having better and more connected relationships with our kids and partners.
