Insurance benefits can be utilize for Therapy Service. I am in-network with United HealthCare/Optum and Aetna. Your portion of responsibility for therapy is dependent on your Mental Health coverage. Insurance does limit the frequency and length of session. With insurance, and individual session will be 45 minutes.
Any other insurance, would be considered out-of-network. I can provide you with a Super Bill (like a receipt for insurance purposes) that you can submit to your plan for possible reimbursement as an out-of-network provider.

We will discuss more about your symptoms, medical history, and family background.
The first couple sessions are really about getting know you better and for you to get know how I work better. It’s totally normal to feel anxious/nervous around starting therapy and before a session. It’s also okay if you don’t know really know what to say or share- I will help guide you!

This will depend on the severity of your symptoms and your goals. Change typically happens slowly, over time, through small and consistent efforts. You can certainly make bigger changes with bigger efforts faster, but to keep it going, we need accountability and ongoing practice of it. This takes time.
I find most clients will experience some relief/benefit after a month and an increased benefit after 12 weeks. For those that are able to make more sustainable, long-term changes, I find 6 months to a year to be most helpful.
